Founded in 2006, Mediatribe.net of Montreal is founded on over ten years experience in web development, logos and graphic design.
Our experience has shown us that a website requires constant updating. The day-to-day management of your site is as important as the initial site creation.
Our mission
- To automate as much as possible the website creation process in order to (1) reduce our costs and the cost of our product (2) standardize our clients' site structures to reduce bugs and errors.
- To offer our clients the luxury of not dealing with the technicalities of how a website works (hosting, system versions, compatibility, domain names, DNS), concentrating rather on the content (images, text, visuals).
- To offer our clients a single invoice for all their website-related services.
Our technology
- Qumbia using the latest open-source Web 2.0 standards (PHP, SQL, CSS, CMS). This offers us the flexibility to offer a simple, innovative and affordable service.
- We favor open-source products, particularly Drupal CMS, which does not require licensing fees, which is easily scalable, stable, and powerful.
Our medium-term goals
Qumbia will be a hub grouping several internet services on a client website. We wish to integrate all services necessary to run a website:
- Site management (hosting, domain name, translation, graphic design, ads, stock photos, movies, custom code, etc.)
- Communications and client relations (forms, catalogs, contact lists, databases, blog, communications management, search, etc.)
Users should have access to all these services with a single username and password.
With Qumbia, a website becomes a powerful tool for communicating with clients, suppliers, partners and the community.
